than 1,500 years ago, North African immigrants brought rice to Spain,
where the crop thrived. It wasn’t long before Spanish cooks were
simmering rice with onions, bell pepper, garlic and tomatoes to create
what is known in the U.S. today as Spanish rice.

Long Grain Parboiled Rice (rice, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate,
Folic Acid), Onion, Salt, Red & Green Bell Pepper, Spices (including
Red Pepper), Sugar, Yeast Extract, Tamari Soy Sauce (soybean, Salt)
& Garlic.

Top Directions Cook: Mix 1-1/2 cups water, 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced
tomatoes, rice mix and 1 Tbsp. butter (optional) in 2-quart saucepan
until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25
minutes or until rice is tender.Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5
minutes. Fluff with fork serving.Pair: Serve with pork chops, shrimp or
steak.
